Our goals are to support the Tawasap Shuar based request for help from the community itself but with a very clear focus:
- Supporting reforestation projects undertaken by the Shuar. These are cultivated (medicinal) plants and trees that are planted in the forest areas which have been destroyed by fire or other causes.
- Preserving the unique culture of the Shuar where preservation of the rainforest, the knowledge and experience of plant medicine and biodynamic agriculture are key elements.
- Support the Shuar with education, study materials and associated costs.
- Creating awareness and increasing knowledge about the preservation of the rainforest, the current and future threats and what everyone can contribute.
